Executive Management Summary (EMS) Supplier Fast Sellers breakdown This report allows you to determine if a supplier's performance is improving or deteriorating. It is similar to the Department Fast Seller report except it uses the standard EMS Supplier Presentations.
EMS Previous Years by Department From this report you can compare department performance for the same period for up to the previous 5 years. A quick look at the following example reveals this business has increased the quantity of sales by 1394 but because the average sale dropped by $23.44, the total sales were down by $31,740. This would be alarming if it weren’t for the markup which is up from 107% to 142%, rescuing the gross profit to show an increase of $4,411 over the last year.
With this information it indicates that there is only one problem to address – “Why is the average sale down?” Using the same report, you would identify which departments have caused the average sale to decrease then take action to rectify it. In short, this report and a few minutes of your time tells a powerful story which would take hours to manually compare.

EMS Previous Years by Department Fast Sellers From this report you get the same information as EMS Previous Years by Department but it also includes fast sellers vs slow sellers figures. An interesting report as it allows you to monitor which departments your stock is gradually getting older in, costing you sales.
EMS Multi Store Inter-store Comparison This report shows multi store comparison by department. It becomes very clear very quickly when one store is underperforming in one or more departments.
EMS Multi Store Inter-store Comparison Fast Sellers This report shows multi store Fast Seller comparisons by department.
Trend Report by Department This one page report per department allows you to view market trends of each department. It compares the last three years’ YTD trends, last three years’ MTD trends and the last 25 consecutive months, which highlights ‘growing trends’. From this you can clearly see month by month such things as the ‘average sale' rising or falling, ‘quantity sales’ rising or falling, ‘MU%’ increasing or decreasing, ‘stock level’ increasing or decreasing etc.
Trend Report by Department Fast Sellers This report gives you the same information as Trend Report by Department plus the effects of having a higher level of fast sellers. It highlights departments you are neglecting by accumulating old stock in. It is very interesting to see the relationship of sales as the level of older stock slowly rises.
Stock vs Sales Reports by Department This report shows if your average sale and/or mark-up will increase or decrease in each department over the next month. It predicts your future sales. A monthly study of this report will allow you to take action to correct average sale or mark-up decreases before they affect your sales.
